About This Tool
The Business Days Calculator has two modes: count the number of working days between two dates, or calculate what date falls a given number of business days from a start date.
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are always excluded. Optionally exclude major US federal holidays for 2024–2026.
How to Use
- Choose Count (between two dates) or Add (to a start date) mode.
- Enter the start date and either the end date or the number of days to add.
- Toggle "Exclude US Holidays" to skip public holidays.
- Read the result — business day count or the target date.

FAQ
- Which holidays are excluded? — US federal holidays 2024–2026: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
- Are weekends counted? — No. Saturday and Sunday are always excluded regardless of the holiday setting.
- Can I use negative days in Add mode? — Yes. Enter a negative number to count backwards from the start date.
